For the 14th consecutive year, Lulu Events organized the gala evening of the Association of Women in Finance of Quebec (AFFQ). This event was an opportunity to honor the women of the finance world in Quebec. As you know, at Lulu Events, empowering women is close to our hearts.

A Tribute to Female Ambition
For the staging of this gala, Lulu Events drew inspiration from the 100th anniversary of artist Marcelle Ferron, a true visionary. Marcelle Ferron is the perfect example of an exceptional woman who broke barriers and opened doors for generations of women who followed her. By highlighting her centenary, we wanted not only to honor her legacy but also to remind everyone that innovation and being a visionary are key qualities that have enabled many women to reach the top in various fields.
The tribute to innovative and progressive women in the field of finance took place at the Palais des congrès in a space bursting with color, with an inspiring emcee: Varda Étienne. The highlight of the evening was a slam poet! He delivered a true ode to women! With impactful rhymes and inspiring phrases, the slam poet paid a beautiful tribute to all the women present that evening.
IMPACT
Female talent in the finance industry is diverse and inspiring. This evening recognized women in various categories, from the “Relève” award to the “Rising Star” award. Not to mention the Inspiration-Andrée-Corriveau award, the Leadership award, and the Alter-Ego award, which was presented to a man whose work aligns with the AFFQ’s commitment. The gala highlighted the visionaries of our current society, who will serve as role models for future generations.
The finalists and winners of this edition demonstrated open-mindedness and the willingness to challenge established norms. We believe this commitment will not be in vain.
