Three event contemplation paths to be walked this summer

You’ve got our number! If Lulu is an answer-generating machine, with its management of the unforeseen (a fundamental event principle) and its creativity and logistical expertise, this attribute obviously didn’t simply materialize from out of nowhere. We spend long periods of time questioning one another (yes, especially during our lunch breaks!). Here is a brief, unsorted list of thoughts that sometimes have the habit of falling by the wayside and turning into annoyances.

Is my event accessible?

Some 20-odd years of experience enable us to share with you the essential event accessibility points that should always be taken into account.

Obviously, this means asking the right questions by considering your guests’ varied restrictions so that everyone can enjoy your events in the same way. If Lulu is needed to infiltrate your summer contemplation, then the entire team would like to share its expertise with you.

Food for thought

  • Is the chosen location accessible to all your guests and if not, is it possible to implement the necessary changes?
  • Are security services authorized to provide first aid? (Just between us, this is always the case, but a quick check helps avoid unpleasant surprises!)
  • Are reception and signage organized in such a way as to be heard, seen, and accessed by everyone?
  • Are opening or closing addresses planned? Will they be accessible to everyone? Have you considered involving people who specialize in sign language, for example?
  • Food stations or table service: is information sufficiently legible?
  • Sanitary facility placement, is it… practicable for all guests? Does your event venue provide any amenities?

Do I leave a breadcrumb trail for my event?

When you look at your board, take two steps back and ask yourself, “Do I see consistency in terms of visuals, but also in terms of values for my entire event?”

In a previous article, we talked at length about the importance of branding. The article expounded upon the value of adding an event portion to enhance a communication and marketing strategy. Events are, therefore, a significant lever for promoting brand image. Product launches are the perfect examples of this! At the heart of this reflection? A breadcrumb trail.

Have I considered post-event relationship continuity?

We can sometimes give so much of our energy to the production of an event that we forget there even is an “after”. When you call upon an event agency, it also becomes possible to orchestrate this infamous “after” and budget for it from the very start of the project. Gratitude is -almost- as meaningful as the event itself. How can we create an elegant and personalized post-event follow-up? For example, have you considered bespoke gestures for your partners?

Whether these questions cross your mind when you’ve got your feet in the surf or when you are working on your beautiful projects, the entire Lulu team wishes for you to enjoy every second to the fullest. In this summer season, we hope you can take time for friends, for a bit of sun with a hint of dolce far niente…
